If you are new to Transfiguration, please let us know by introducing yourself!  We are so glad you're here and can't wait to meet you!  If you are a returning visitor, and have not already done so, we invite you to register and join our Parish Family.  There are so many good reasons for registering, here are what we consider to be the top nine:

1. Enjoy a sense of belonging and identity in our Parish Community.
2. In times of joy and in times of struggle, it is comforting to have the support of our faith family.
3. It is a commitment to live out your faith and participate in the sacramental life of our Parish.
4. In order to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, or Holy Matrimony you will need to be a registered member.
5. For Faith Formation instruction and Sacramental preparation, the families of those attending must also be registered parishioners.
6. It gives the parish a way to connect and communicate with you.
7. Being included in the demographics of our parish helps in the planning for Transfiguration's needs.
8. According to Canon Law, a priest is required to pray "pro populo" (for the people), meaning they must celebrate a Mass for the intentions of their parishioners on every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation.  What a gift!
9. Also, in our rosaries, we often pray for "the parish"; we are truly speaking about "the parishioners".
