Dear Friends in Christ. 

The Brown Scapular, once one of the greatest devotional treasures of the Church, has been largely forgotten by the world. The aim of the Scapular Apostolate is to reawaken this simple and most profound devotion in the lives of Catholics everywhere, by making and distributing affordable scapulars, starting with our own parish.

We are BUILDING A SCAPULAR MACHINE - 3600 Scapulars an hour!! -To be finished if we can raise the needed money by April of 2023.  We are in the building phase and need to raise 125k!!!  Go to www.scapularap.com if you would like to donate.
We can get these scapulars to quite a few people once we get this machine going.

The Scapular Apostolate, with the help of volunteers, creates and sells well-made low-cost brown scapulars, it also runs scapular-making workshops for parishes, schools, prayergroups. Members of the Apostolate can teach you how to make your own Brown Scapular, as well as giving information on the devotion and instruction for enrollment.

The Scapular Apostolate Inc. is a 501-c3 non-profit organization.

Parishioners at Transfiguration, along with parishoners at St Mary's Shrine in Oswego, volunteer thier time and talents to support the Apostolate by making scapulars.

2)You may also help us make scapulars by sending us an email at transfigurationsyr@syrdio.org - We will get you the materials. 

3)Finally, you can pray for this important apostolate.
