  Diocesan policy requires initial contact with the church at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date. To begin marriage preparation, including required classes, you will need to contact the Transfiguration Parish Office. In addition to the information needed in the form below, the Bride and Groom will also have to provide the following:
  Baptism & Confirmation Certificates for each of you. These need to be currently-dated with church seals affixed. You can obtain these documents from the parishes where the sacraments took place. In some cases, the church where a sacrament was administered may now be permanently closed; however, records are typically transferred to another church within the Pastoral Care Area. These certificates may take a significant amount of time to obtain, so you should start this process as soon as possible.

Routinely more than half of our participants attend Confession - what a beautiful way to enter into the Sacrament of Matrimony!
